WAY”

James Lynas singing “I Wish Every Night Was Saturday Night” appears in the soundtrack of a new comedy movie set in Northern Ireland entitled "A Bump Along The Way" starring Bronagh Gallagher, Lola Petticrew and Mary Moulds and directed by Shelly Love and Tess McGowan, many of the stars from the movie “The Commitments”. The film was winner of Best Irish Feature at the Galway Film Fleadh during the summer.

THE DAVID ALLAN COLUMN IN SEPTEMBER COUNTRY MUSIC

PEOPLE MAGAZINE.

Veteran country music journalist has high praise for the new single by Liz Clarke who is currently gaining much traction with Jon’s “Three Jobs, Two Kids, No Money”. In his column he writes: “The homegrown country scene gets very little attention these days with just a tiny handful of folk winning the jackpot and being put under the wing of a major company. So it’s good to spotlight a success story for British songwriters Jon Philibert and Douglas MacPherson (both well known to CMP readers) and teamed up with Rockabilly Hall of Famer Ed Bentley to create a rocking little opus title “Three Jobs, Two Kids, No Money“ – inspired by remark heard on the long-running radio show “The Archers”. I wrote enthusiastically about the song after hearing a demo some months ago and hoped that the team would soon secure a record release. Now that’s happened. It’s been picked up by popular Scottish singer Liz Clarke, who has come up with a fiery, toe-tapping take which is already getting airplay on many local radio stations. This is an entertaining top-class effort that’s certainly worthy of national exposure and perhaps that will follow soon. Jon Says that he is delighted to be “flying the flag” for British country music and a video is in the pipeline.”
